Doing my part for America

Today I had a surprising call at work. A guy from the United States Government called regarding Roxanne's daughter (my babysitter's daughter). The daughter (Gina) has been in the Navy for a few years and now she is getting a promotion that she needs "security clearance" for. He asked if he could come downtown to meet with me face to face, which he did. He had his official "special agent" ID. I always thought the ID on TV was hokey...but it really does look that way. He asked me a bunch of questions about Gina and whether I would trust her with "national security issues." It was quite an interesting meeting.
