Groundhog Day!




Did you know today is Groundhog Day?

I never really understood this day, but maybe it is because Oregon has the four seasons: rainy, rainy, rainy, and rainy with sun mixed in.

I do however really like the movie Groundhog Day. I thought it was pretty funny. So I guess something good came out of Groundhog day:)

Hi. I agree with you. It makes no sense that when he sees his shadow (indicating there IS indeed sun) he goes back down into his hole and says that there will be six more weeks of winter. Odd.

Maybe your first grade teacher should have researched this more carefully...LOL
