Time Flies
Well, earlier this week (Tuesday to be exact) I felt like this week was NEVER going to end. It was dragging by like a snail. Today is Thursday and I can't believe the week is almost over. Boy, what a little prespective can do to make things better.
I am almost caught up on my bible reading now. I am actually on the right day now:) I just have to read today's devotion and I will be right on track...woo hoo! Church was great last night. Dr. Quick (our guest speaker) did part two of his stress talk. It was very informative...and believe it or not...quite funny. He had the whole church roaring at one point. It was great. The boys had a great time too. They learned about the story of the widow who gave two coins (all she had) and the rich people who were giving more (monetarily) but it was only a small portion of their riches. Zan was so cute, he said, "if I was the widow I would give everything because she gave more to God because it was everything she had". Then last night, as we were saying our prayers, Zan asked God to help him lose his tooth so he could get money and then he could give it to the poor. How cute is that!
As for dinner last night...as I expected we didn't have Chinese. Zan chose Jack in the Box again because he needed "another" squirt gun. Silly kids...
Sweet Tanya gave me a frappacino today when I came in. TJ got it for her, but she isn't a big fan of cold coffee. Yummy for me though.
