Hello all! I know it has been a long time since I have updated my blog. My work has decided that no one can use their computers for anything but work...so even on my breaks, lunch, etc...I still can't use my computer to update my blog. Annoying...but I guess that is life. So, that is why I haven't updated in so long. I usually don't have the desire to blog after a long day when I get home...so I just don't.
Well, on the news front. Joe and I are moving to Vancouver. The place is about the same size, but only 2 bedrooms. It also is about $150 less a month, which will help a lot on our saving for a real house. The big move happens April 1st. (I hope it isn't an April fools joke.)
Joe was baptized last week. He was baptized as a baby, but needed to be baptized as an adult so he could make the choice. Zan watched and was really impressed. He wants to get baptized now. He talked about it about a year ago, but clearly wasn't ready yet. This time he really seems like he is ready. He answered all the questions I had and has asked about it nearly every day since then. I am going to talk to Dana (Our children's minister) today to get a book he needs to work through before he gts "dunked."
Last night for our Life Group meal, we had corned beef and cabbage, red potatoes, and cheesy garlic bread. It was all great. I had never tried corned beef before, but I really liked it. Our lesson in life group was about why Jesus had to die surrounded by criminals. It was really good. Today the sermon is on the same topic and will expand on it some more. I can't wait. I love Easter time. The sermons always touch my heart. In Wee Worship (the 4 &5 year olds that Joe and I teach) we are learning about Palm Sunday and how Jesus rode in on a donkey and everyone cheered for him and put down their palms and clothes. It should be fun to have them act that out today.
Alright, I hope your thirst for my blog has been temporarily quenched. Love you all!
