Field Trip

Most of you know that I went on a field trip with Zan today. We had a blast! We went on the Willamette Jet Boats and had a great time. The boat ride was about 2 hours and we all got soaked. Okay, I know what you are thinking...we got rained on...well, you are wrong! The sun actually came out the whole time. We got wet when we did some "spin-a-roos" which consist of going about 40 MPH and then spinning 360 degrees. As we spun we would run into the huge wave we made and it would spray over the boat. It was great! Zan and Brent (his best friend) had HUGE smiles on their faces the whole time. You should have seen them when the guy first hit the throttle! I have never seen him so excited and full of life. It was great being there.

Besides the adrenaline, we also saw lots of neat sites around Portland. We looked at all the bridges and headed all the way down to the waterfalls just outside of Oregon City called the Willamette falls. I posted some pics of our journey:)
